VANODINE is an Iodophor (carrier of Iodine) unique in its
formulation and stabilized by a patented process for use in all types of livestock.
Concentrated form makes it economical as well as effective.
FEATURES: Low Toxicity - Wide Killing Spectrum - Deep Penetration - Long Shelf Life - Non-Flammable - Visible activity - Low Cost - Non Corrosive - Contains no alcohol - Cleans and Disinfects in one operation - Active in the presence of organic matter - Biodegradable, stable and safe to use.
VANODINE is a strong disinfectant, that inactivates all types of organisms, viruses, bacteria and even fungi. Yet VANODINE is gentle enough for use in sanitizing drinking water and spray directly in the eye or nose or on open wounds.
Regular disinfectants are not typically effective against poliovirus, the TB germ or many of the antibiotic resistant organisms which worry the livestock producer as a result of the indiscriminate use of antibiotics. Only a few of the corrosive type disinfectants are effective against fungi and spores, yet they are only efficient at dangerously strong concentrations.
VANODINE is a disinfectant and more. It is harmless to warm-blooded creatures and can therefore be used to keep down germs in the presence of livestock.
VANODINE is one of the few disinfectants, which can be added to the
drinking water to stop the spread of infection through this medium.
VANODINE is a powerful cleaner and can be used for washing out food, water vessels, cages and buildings.
While it is impossible to list all the diseases against which Fam 30 is effective, we weill outline some of the most common ones and the best method of application.
VANODINE USES
:
Cleaning and sterilizing - Aerial Disinfectant - Sterilization of
drinking water - Hand Washing after handling disease - Deodorizing - Foot Baths - Wound
treatment - Illness prevention
This list is not comprehensive but lists some of the organisms against which VANODINE has been tested. In every case, the kill was extremely fast, many times faster than either carbolic or quaternary compounds. Click on any line for more details of pathogens tested.
USE IN THE COW SHED AND CALF REARING HOUSE
The success story of VANODINE is repeated again in the cow shed and and the calf house, particularly in dealing with pneumonia virus, E coli infections, mastitis, ringworm etc....
Keep houses clean by wiping walls and floors with VANODINE and fog daily to keep bacteria and viruses at bay. Wash food and water vessels, in particular calf bucketrs, for these unless kept clean, often carry the organisms which produce
AScours@.
SHEEP AND LAMBS
Use VANODINE at lambing time. Soak cloths used for washing and cleaning up afterbirth in a VANODINE solution. This will help to control the spread of septic metritis, naval and joint ills. VANODINE is also useful for the spot treatment of foot rot.
HORSES
VANODINE is useful for cleaning out wounds, cuts, scratches, Thrush, saddle galls, etc. In the event of a coughing epidemic it should be fogged or sprayed in order that it is inhaled by the animal, at the same time walls, floors etc. should be washed down to reach the viruses lurking at the cracks and crevices. Wash out food and water vessels with VANODINE solutions.
